Top 10 Most Dangerous Dinosaurs โ Ranked
Dinosaurs ruled the Earth for over 165 million years. Among them were some of the most terrifying predators the planet has ever seen. Here's our ranking.
1. Tyrannosaurus rex
The king. 12 meters long, 8 tons, bite force of 35,000 newtons โ enough to crush a car. T. rex had binocular vision and an incredible sense of smell. It was both hunter and scavenger, dominating Late Cretaceous North America.
2. Spinosaurus aegyptiacus
Bigger than T. rex at up to 15 meters, Spinosaurus was the first known semi-aquatic dinosaur. It hunted giant fish and may have been able to swim actively. Its sail remains one of paleontology's great mysteries.
3. Giganotosaurus carolinii
South America's answer to T. rex. Slightly longer than the tyrant king, Giganotosaurus hunted in packs and may have taken down the largest sauropods.
